Today’s prompt from the Ultimate Blogging Challenge is to share a youtube video. The technical term for this is “content creation.”
The YouTube video that I chose is called “Sea Ghosts.” It is spooky music from the ocean. The composer is Brandon Fiechter. Please go to the YouTube link and subscribe. He is very talented as a composer.

Spooky music from the ocean goes well with the continuing saga of the steampunk bear…
Part seven of the steampunk bear’s story
The steampunk bear watched the bird and the bee and the selkie leave.
“We are going to collect fish,” said one of the ravens.
“I’m going to collect plants,” said the mouse.
Everyone but the steampunk bear scattered. The steampunk bear looked toward the water and then put a foot in it.
“The water is warm,” said the bear. “I could go for a swim. It’s been a while since I’ve had a good swim.”
The bear ran into the water and began swimming with strong strokes. He kept swimming until he reached an island that looked as if it were uninhabited. He walked onto land and began exploring. He walked along the rocky shore and along the white sand, where he felt the sand tickle his toes. It felt pleasant. He waded into the turquoise waters. He found a large piece of driftwood sitting on the beach. The driftwood appeared to be hollow, so the curious bear peered inside. He was startled when a tiny elfen type creature hopped outside of the driftwood.

“Who are you?” they both asked simultaneously, and then they laughed.
“I’m a bear and I’m just out for a swim. My bird friends have flown, and I am alone.”
“Will they come back?” asked the elfen creature in a squeaky high voice.
“I think so,” the bear said. “Some of them are looking for fish, and another is following a selkie after a Rusalka took one of the birds away.”
“Oh,” said the elfen creature. “We know the Rusalka. That’s why we all hide. She is very fearsome. But she’s not invincible. There are certain herbs that will defeat her. I will lead you to them.”
The elfen creature and the steampunk bear walked through the beach and into a tropical forest that was full of lush and beautiful vegetation.
“This place is very healing. Stay here while you collect the herbs. I will show you exactly which ones are the most potent.”
The two walked deeper into the tropical forest, as rain fell gently.
To be continued
It is spooky. I enjoyed this chapter! The image of the bear discovering the tiny elf inside the driftwood was so imaginative, and the tropical island setting made it easy to picture the scene.
Thank you so much, Lisa!
