#WordlessWednesdays: Independence Day 2018

Today’s blog post is a series of images from Grand Island’s Independence Day parade, as well as from a fireworks display along the Niagara River. It was a beautiful, sunny day, although very hot. Everyone was encouraged to drink plenty of water, to stay hydrated, and to enjoy the parade.

  1. Lovely colourful pictures. And the weather is bright and sunshiny. Loved the fireworks and the drill by those young girls.

  2. Happy Independence Day Alice! (Though I am late…better late than never!)
The parade seems to be one gala affair, full of energy and cheer. I could get those vibes from the pics you shared. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Shamefully, it's been years (perhaps three) since we've enjoyed a live Fourth of July fireworks show. Were just too exhausted this year. Happy you got out and enjoyed the day.

  4. Enjoyed your parade. I missed out on the one in my little town – just too dang hot to stand in the sun. But did take my brother to see the fireworks display. We had practically front-row seats.

Looks like you had a great fourth. I enjoyed your parade, watched the one in our little town, but wasn't in a good spot for pictures.
