The grayness is gone
when bulbs burst forth with color
sweet early springtime.
Daffodil faces
shine yellower than the sun
early afternoon
Sunshine is sweeter
when you’re with your favorite friends
after months indoors

Here in NJ, some daffodils have popped up and the trees are starting to bud or have already budded.

Alice, I love your stanzas and your blossom images! Here in Phoenix, the flowering trees are the show-offs currently. We have jacarandas, orchid trees, and bright-yellow blossoming palo verde trees (green trunks!). Ask me about flowers next week.
