It’s Wordless Wednesday, so it’s time to share pictures of spring, as it pops up, despite random days of annoyingly cold weather and ferocious wind. Today is a twofer. It’s cold and it’s windy. That seems like too much multitasking to the point of rudeness. Anyway, I will try not to be a Nattering Nabob of Negativism. Vice President Spiro Agnew said that years ago, before he resigned from the vice presidency after being charged with corruption. If this was an indication of how he talked, he was very good with language because this is some fine alliteration. But, back to the sputtering spring starting slowly (alliteration is contagious)…

Alice, thank you for the beautiful flowers. We don’t have hyacinths here– I haven’t seen them in decades. I hope you’ll keep sharing blooms. 🙂
I will do that, Kebba. It’s my intention to continue to track the seasons as they change. And I love spring, my favorite season!
Hi Alice,
You know I like pictures and I am impressed by the ones you posted today.
AI aside. I am surprised you missed these words in your post:
Narcissus and Netherlands.
Blog on!
Narcissus and Netherlands is definitely an excellent alliteration. Thank you, Doug!
I love your photos of spring flowers. It is autumn here in Australia and the trees are marvellous colours.

Thank you so much. I love autumnal colors. They are truly gorgeous. What sort of trees do you have in Australia?
Those are beautiful signs of spring! And I love your alliteration.
Thank you, Jeanine!
Cold and windy definitely feels like spring being dramatic—but those blooms make up for it! Love the lavender hyacinths and that forsythia tip!
I ended up switching gears from pumpkins to sunflowers this year—still keeping the garden fun and vibrant, just in a sunnier way! I wrote about my original plan here: Planning for Next Year’s Garden https://yarnseasons.blog/2024/10/26/planning-for-next-years-garden-morning-glories-pumpkins-and-halloween-vibes/
