Yesterday, I went to Grand Island’s Golden Age Center for a Mardi Gras event. It featured a pancake supper, colorful decorations, and music, provided by Charlie Morris, who plays piano and steel drum. Originally from Trinidad, Charlie now lives in Western New York. He enjoys playing a wide variety of musical styles and, sometimes, adds a harmonica to what is already a one-man band. He first came to the Golden Age Center a year or so ago and no one really noticed him until he played the piano. Then they noticed him. He created a lot of fun last night as a one-man band! Thank you, Charlie!!
