After painting eight wooden eggs, I was starting to feel as if inspiration had fled. Nevertheless, I decided to paint three wooden eggs today, even though I had absolutely no plan in mind for them.
Unfortunately, my creativity was taking a nap…
I looked at the eggs and blanked out. I didn’t have a clue…
So, I looked out the window, hoping for inspiration… and instead saw snowflakes.
It’s April, so I said, “Snow you’re fired! Clean out your desk!” And winter laughed, but it didn’t budge.
So, I went to Zumba and I did other activities, with the hope that creativity would kick in.
And I think it did. It’s day 47 of the 100-day art project, and here are my eggs.

How did it happen? Instead of trying to create an image in advance, I chose colors and decided to play with them. I also decided to have no more than three colors. The two shades of blue and white were my three colors. And then, I set out to have fun with my three eggs. I used the same colors and made a different design on each.
I went from I CAN’T to IT’S FUN!!!
Isn’t that how it usually is?
Let go of the stress and grab on to the joy… and you can create more than you thought possible.

Yay! I’m glad you were able to do them. They’re so pretty!
Thank you so much, Jeanine.
i love the window pane effect in the middle one!

Thank you very much, Donna!
The Eggs are so pretty and they are what’s missing from my Easter decorations on the Porch. Along with a Easter Basket and grass but also it’s less to clean up and made the display from past years. Enjoy the day and your Art projects.
