So… I know that pumpkinations isn’t actually a word, but I decided to do a Lewis Carroll sort of thing and invent a word. Some of the words that Lewis Carroll invented include: chortle, frabjous, frumious, bandersnatch, snark, boojum, galumph, mimsy. They are fun words, as well as being funny. I wonder which of them Mr. Punkin would have used while pumpkinating.
I love the artwork! Making up words is a lot of fun! I did not know that Lewis Carroll invented those words!
Lewis Carroll had a vivid imagination, as well as being hard of hearing! So he heard things in odd and different ways! And I am happy that you like the painting!
Alice, your pumpkin is very uplifting. Thanks! I always enjoy your artwork. It would be fun to transpose that pumpkin face to an actual pumpkin. Now, Lewis Carroll– I love all of his invented words. I did not know he was hard of hearing, so thanks for that.
A very cheerful Mr. Pumpkin. I want to read Lewis Carrol’s Alice in Wonderland again – some day.
