Rock City Park

The prompt today was to write about something fun and what could be more fun than walking in an area full of giant rock formation? Okay, maybe walking that same area at night under the stars? Would that make me a rock star? Hey, stop groaning, and don’t click that X at the top of the page!!!

Rock City Park is in the southwestern part of New York state, in Cattaraugus County.

Anyway, the rocks. They were beautiful. It was almost like being on another planet, or, at least, my idea of another planet. Huge rock formations making the humans seem very tiny.

There’s no moving any rocks to ensure a wider passageway! But it’s fun to walk between the large rock formations!

The rocks feel like stone pillars, leading to a different world.

I wonder what’s on the other side of this? It looks mysterious.

There were so many things to explore amongst the great big rocks.

Welcome to my chamber, said the spider to the fly.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed this rock world. It was a fun experience, and what could be better than fun?
