To create this project, I first applied painter’s tape to the canvas. Then I painted in black and varying shades of gray. Once the paint was dry, I removed the tape to get the different shapes. After that, I added a collection of quotations with a Sharpie pen. The quotations are about art and life. It might be interesting to do a creative writing project on such a canvas. In the white spaces, write a short story or a poem. At some point, I might try that as a project.
