waiting…

Two little bears heard that their friend Bearnacle Bear was sailing a boat that he built. And so, they decided to wait for him to return and tell them all about his adventure.

“I want to sail with Bearnacle,” said LIttle Bear.

“You don’t even have a name yet,” said Tiny Bear. “Nor do I.”

“We can have an adventure with Bearnacle,” said Little Bear. “Then we will grow into whatever name our parents choose to give us.”

“I suppose you’re right. I think that I have been waiting too long. I don’t know when Bearnacle will be back, and I’m ready for my lunch,” Tiny Bear said.

“I wouldn’t mind a cup of tea with honey,” said Little Bear.

“Or a cup of honey with a little tea,” Tiny Bear said.

And off the bears went, having waited long enough. They did not look toward the sea because, if they had, they would have seen Bearnacle Bear’s boat fighting the waves.
