An oddly placed bench
a nice perching place for squirrels
on a snowy day

Decorative fence
covered with powdery snow
dreary winter's day

Outdoor oasis
herb garden has gone dormant
wintertime respite

Trees stand tall and straight
watching gardens hibernate
waiting for sunlight

Outdoor umbrellas
when the sky is overcast
protect from the snow
Question for you: What do you see out of your window right now?
Those are lovely winter pictures! Makes you want some hot chocolate. 🙂 I like to look at the trees outside my window. Especially with the afternoon sun on them.
Thank you so much Jeanine. It would be nice for us to have hot chocolate together.
Hi Alice,
I see you are not just an artist, author, photographer and blogger, but a poet as well.
That seems like a very fulfilling life.
Thank you so much, Doug!
love all the pics, and the poems of course.. my fav one – pic and haiku – Trees stand tall and straight
