It’s time for the autumn version of the Ultimate Blogging Challenge. This month, I am going to share stories about some of the adventures that I’ve been on recently. In addition, I’m going to share pictures from the Inktober challenge. In this challenge, I draw a picture in ink every day for the month of Inktober (aka October). I have already been given the 31 daily prompts. I will share these pictures once a week, with a story to go along with the seven drawings. Right now, I have no idea of the direction that I am going with the story, so I suppose that I will be as surprised by it as you are. Well, I hope that the direction of the story is surprising to everyone.

Also, this year is the bicentennial of the Erie Canal, and I am hoping to share stories about the canal. There is a lot of history, and it isn’t all good. And all of it needs and deserves to be told.

Stay tuned! There is so much more to come!!!
Alice, I saw your exuberant figure on maybe FB, and my comments stand: It’s gorgeous. It’s perfectly proportioned. Now I’m eager to hear more about the Erie Canal!
Thank you so much! I’m so happy that you like the Libra Dancer. And I am looking forward to sharing Erie Canal stories!
Love your drawing, Alice. Thanks for the reminder for Inktober. Have planned to take that on, too. Looking forward to your storytelling as well as your drawings.
Thank you so much, Lily!!! I am looking forward to seeing your drawings!
Awesome! Excited for your adventure to unfold! I live near Lake Michigan and don’t know much about Lake Erie. Looking forward to learning more.
That’s awesome! I love Lake Michigan and have a lot of good memories of my times there!
I love your artwork
Thank you so much!!!
Alice: As I followed your entry, I immediately started hearing the song “Low Bridge, Everybody Down” in my head!
That’s a very fun song. I was on a ride in a boat on a canal with a group of people from my church, and we were told, “Low bridge, everybody down.” I promptly sat down and we all started singing “Low bridge, everybody down.” The crew didn’t sit, and I could see that I wouldn’t be in any danger of hitting my head because I am fun sized.
I will stay tuned. I love your drawing.
Thank you so much!
Awesome! I’m here for all of it. Looking forward to seeing your artwork and hearing your stories.
That’s great! I am excited about your blog, as well.
