L is for things that live beautifully

Today, I am sharing images of things that live so beautifully that you can’t help but notice them.

When I was much, much younger, I was afraid of bees, probably because I didn’t know what would cause them to sting. For the same reason, I was afraid of balloons because the popping hurt my ears, and I didn’t know when that would happen. Unpredictability can be frightening. But beautiful. I learned much later that bumblebees are very easygoing bees. I think that I really feared yellow jackets. Now I know that they aren’t bees; they’re wasps and that they sting for sport, which is… yuck. Hence a bumblebee is the object of my admiration!

Awwww. Who could resist that sweet face? It’s so incredibly adorable!!! I would probably give this one my entire dinner, just for that enchanting face.

It’s a wascally wabbit, and it will probably take some good-sized taste tests out of your garden, but it’s just so cuuuuuuuuuuute!!!!

That osprey was so gifted at posing for me! That beak, those eyes… just wow. Ospreys travel extensively and they are excellent at fishing. Wonderful raptor.

The giraffe is the tallest of all land mammals. Its legs alone are six feet tall! It can run at a pace up to 34.7 miles per hour. If you have a pet giraffe, don’t leave your curtains open when you’re changing your clothes or you might see the face of your curious pet watching you through your second story window.

How could I resist that adorable face? My sweet Trinity. We’ve been together for more than two and a half years. My precious senior rescue. I’m not biased in the least. Not at all. Very objective. Yep.
