This is my little lion friend. I really had fun drawing his portrait in colored pencils! My lion friend likes hanging out with the bears who live in my room, but they are sad because they don’t have a tiger friend. They want me to say, “Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!” And then, they will laugh and will be gleeful.
So… I’m going to go and look for a little tiger friend for my lion and my bears, so they can do their happy dances at night while Trinity and I are sleeping. It’s in the silence of night that the magic happens. Or, at least, we hope that magic happens when we’re sleeping. Because optimistic people always hope for the best.

Of course you need a tiger (or several) to match the rhyme!!
Hee hee, I’m a Metal Tiger gal – and had/ have? a Beanie-Baby white tiger (Maybe in storage?) I remember getting my middle granddaughter a Tigger (Winnie the Pooh) from abasket at our little antique mall!
Love your lion and bear friends.
Thank you so much! Yes, tigers are great. One of these days, I will adopt the right tiger to join the family!!!
Your lion friend looks full of personality! Hoping a little tiger shows up soon so the nighttime magic and happy dances can really take off.
My lion friend says thank you. He says that, when his tiger friend comes, the two of them will dance in the moonlight and sing to the stars.
Oh I love your lion friend! I’m sure a Tiger will show up to join in the fun with the lion and bear! I love your drawings and stories.
Thank you so much, Martha! I will share pictures when the Tiger comes to stay with his new friends!
