Inktober 52 is an art project that provides weekly prompts. I love to have prompts because it gives me the chance to interpret a concept. When I get blocked, it’s because I have no idea of what I want to draw. With a prompt, I can simply focus on how I want to interpret that prompt. SNIFF
When I saw that prompt, I thought of trilliums, skunks, and perfume. Finally, I chose perfume because it’s the most pleasant of those three smells, despite the fact that perfume enourages a great deal of sneezing from me. When I’m singing and people are close together, I definitely prefer for people not to wear perfume because sneezing and singing is not a great combination. But a drawing of a few perfume bottles will never inspire sneezing, unlike the scratch and sneeze features in magazines.
