Was it all a dream?

Back at home, Baby Bear related the story of being carried away in a backpack and then meeting a girl human and afterward, her cousin, the boy. Baby Bear said that he saw the sea and the beach and they were where his destiny lay.

“You are young to have chosen your destiny,” said Baby Bear’s father.

“very young,” chimed in Baby Bear’s mother.

But Baby Bear knew. And so did the girl human. She had a pair of binoculars that she believed were magical. With them, she could see images of places she had yet to visit. She believed that she was destined to visit these places and that Baby Bear would be part of the journey. She also believed that Baby Bear was going to get a different name, the name that he would grow into, the name he was destined to have.

The magic binoculars were too big for the girl’s face. They were too big for the boy, as well. But Baby Bear looked into the binoculars and he saw a calm beach and a sea just starting to become wild. He saw himself and he saw his future.

But, for now, he was back at home with his family and the little adventure that he had at the beach felt like a dream.

Maybe it was or maybe…

  1. I have a question… Have you written the entire story or do you just come up with the next chapter on the follow day? I love following along on Baby Bear’s adventure.
